Nomad Summit Team

The Nomad Summit began in 2015 as a small gathering in Chiang Mai, Thailand, created by Johnny FD to connect and inspire digital nomads. Over the years, it grew into a flagship event for the location-independent community, bringing together remote workers, entrepreneurs, and creatives. Now, the Summit enters an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Kai Isand and Christoph Huebner.

Kai, an experienced event curator, and Christoph, a seasoned entrepreneur and advocate for the nomadic lifestyle, have teamed up to build on Johnny’s legacy while introducing fresh ideas. The January 2025 edition in Chiang Mai features a dynamic two-day conference for digital nomads at the Shangri-La Hotel, alongside the newly launched Nomad Week, a platform for attendees to host and join workshops, meetups, and activities.

With plans for future Summits in destinations like Estonia, the team envisions the Nomad Summit as a global movement empowering nomads to connect, grow, and build meaningful ventures. Join us to be part of this inspiring journey!
