Terms and Conditions, Refund and Returns Policy

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Nomad Summit. By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Tickets: Non-Refundable but Transferable

1.1 Non-Refundable: All tickets purchased for the Nomad Summit are non-refundable. Once you’ve purchased a ticket, we cannot offer a refund for any reason, including personal circumstances preventing attendance.

1.2 Transferable: If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. To do this, you must inform the Nomad Summit team by emailing [email protected] no later than 3 days before the event. You’ll need to provide the new attendee’s full name and contact details.

1.3 Transfer Fees: A fee of $20 will apply to process the ticket transfer. The Nomad Summit team will confirm the transfer after receiving payment and verifying the details. Transfers are the responsibility of the original ticket holder.

2. Refund Policy in Case of Event Cancellation (Force Majeure)

2.1 Force Majeure: In the unlikely event that the Nomad Summit is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, government restrictions, epidemics, or pandemics, a refund policy will apply.

2.2 Refunds for Cancellations: If the event is canceled due to force majeure, we will refund the full price of your ticket. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation announcement. However, we are not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation expenses.

2.3 Event Rescheduling: If the event is rescheduled due to force majeure, your ticket will remain valid for the new date. If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may request a partial refund by contacting us within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement.

3. Event Changes

3.1 Event Modifications: The Nomad Summit reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, venue, or any other aspect of the event without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated to you via email and posted on the official event website.

3.2 No Refunds for Modifications: Changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue do not entitle ticket holders to a refund, unless the event is canceled entirely as per Section 2.

4. Attendee Conduct

4.1 Code of Conduct: All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove attendees who violate this code of conduct, without a refund.

4.2 Reporting Issues: If you experience or witness any misconduct, please report it immediately to event staff or by contacting [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will address them promptly.

5. Liability

5.1 Personal Injury and Property Damage: By attending the Nomad Summit, you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk. The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or property damage that occurs during the event, unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

5.2 Lost or Stolen Property: The Nomad Summit organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during the event.

5.3 Travel and Accommodation: Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. We are not liable for any losses or additional costs resulting from event rescheduling or cancellation, such as flight or hotel cancellations.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 COVID-19 and Other Health Regulations: Attendees must comply with all local health and safety guidelines, including those related to COVID-19 (e.g., masks, proof of vaccination, or testing). These requirements will be communicated ahead of the event and may be subject to change based on government regulations.

6.2 Assumption of Risk: By attending the Nomad Summit, you acknowledge the inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 or other contagious illnesses in any public space. You agree that you are attending the event voluntarily and assume all risks associated with such exposure.

7. Image and Media Rights

7.1 Consent to Photography and Filming: By attending the Nomad Summit, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. The Nomad Summit may use these images and recordings for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, or marketing materials.

7.2 Opting Out: If you do not wish to be included in any photos or recordings, please notify the event organizers in writing before the event at [email protected].

8. Data Protection and Privacy

8.1 Personal Information: We collect personal information from you (such as your name and email) to manage your ticket, provide event updates, and ensure your attendance. This information is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

8.2 Third-Party Sharing: We may share attendee information with trusted event partners or sponsors for event-related purposes. You can opt-out of this by contacting us at [email protected].

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia.

9.2 Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes arising from these Terms, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through mediation. If no resolution is reached, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Estonia.
